2023
The Team
Special Guest David McGillivray
Awards Ceremony
a very Special Guest
In 2023 we were honoured to meet writer, producer and actor David McGillivray in a talk about his life and career.
The man behind an array of horror, controversial and light-hearted media; such as short film ‘Trouser Bar’, the first anthology of British Sex Film ‘Doing Rude Things’ and a cacophony of co-written comedy with and for Julian Clary.
David joined us for a screening of Trouser Bar which followed by an insightful talk about his wonderfully influential life. He was then presented with a lifetime achievement award for his contributions to cinema.
Stop for a drink with our guest mixologists Jack & Joe who will pair your screen time with the perfect thematic cocktail!
“An adorable team who really care about the films they screen and the filmmakers.”
“ This festival really did make it all about the filmmakers, the stories and there were so many meticulous and clever little touches - no detail overlooked! Constant communication from Carrie which was also lovely. Well done and thank you for making us a part of it!”
