What is a Zine?

A zine (pronounced ‘zeeen’, like the end of magazine), is a self published booklet made from 1 or 2 pieces of paper. Zines originated through letter-writing, and people sharing information with each other about things they were passionate about. We are going to create Zines based on identity. These can be copies and shared with others, or kept for yourself.

‘What if I’m not creative?’

Everyone has an ounce of creativity in them! But there is no obligation to join in with the craft, you’re welcome to join for the good vibes!

PLUS - As a Kaleidoscope member, you can enjoy a free screening an LGBTQ+ film at the cinema after! (The film is a mystery, but if you ask nicely we might tell you what it is!)

Kaleidoscope is a free LGBTQ+ space for 17-24s! We run every month doing different crafty activities.

There is no need to book, you can just turn up!
